‘Bollywood Blunder’ is what Deepika got tagged as by Daily Mail- A renowned British tabloid. You may recall it’s the same tabloid which failed to recognize Deepika when she stepped out for dinner in London with ace Tennis player Novak Djokovic and the tabloid addressed her as a ‘female companion’.

Coming back to their take of calling Deepika a ‘Bollywood Blunder’, Naah! I think that’s a little too much to say. She wasn’t a blunder for sure! But what she wore to the awards night could have easily been substituted for something much better-something Deepika is very much capable of! After all she is Bollwood’s fashion Diva!

Things went majorly wrong with the Bralet and high-slit skirt look, two reasons- first her not so cool flashy earrings and second her obnoxious waist belt. Although the stand alone pieces were good enough, the combination was decent, but when the entire look was put together it descended big time! Minimal is the current trend anyways, so why so flashy, Dippy?|

Maybe Deepika should take a tip or two from Priyanka Chopra who has learnt the art of walking down international red carpets. All her looks at various international events have been top class. Be it the swirling at Emmy’s or the messy pony look at the Billboard Music Awards, she has always nailed her looks to the T.

Deepika Padukone is someone whose style quotient is highly appreciated in Bollywood. I am myself a big fan of the actress’ fashion sense. But looks like this was not Deepika’s day! However, I would give her the credit for a neat hair-do and flawless make-up.

Even her look for the after-party was quite blah! She was wearing a Roberto Cavalli with high length boots. The outfit was falling quite weirdly on her body-type!

May be there was too much of pressure on Deepika as it was her first international appearance. And that’s why we say lady- you can always take PeeCee’s help in this department.

Overall I would rate Deepika’s look a 6 on 10. But is it a ‘Blunder’? Not really!
